Klamath Falls Holdings, LLC continues the vision of TimberMill Shores

Klamath Falls – Rubicon Investments is pleased to announce that their wholly owned subsidiary, Klamath Falls Holdings, LLC has secured a contract with a national hotel group for the purchase of lot seven, a waterfront lot in TimberMill Shores. “We have been pleased to have the opportunity to work with Rubicon Investments and their goals for further development in the Klamath Falls area”, said Julie Matthews with the Klamath County Economic Development Association (KCEDA).

Allison York, Principal Broker at Windermere Real Estate has been working with Rubicon Investments on the transaction. Additional lots in the development have been considered for hotel development, in years past, located adjacent to Veteran Memorial Park. “This new purchase would be in addition to that and the addition of a hotel will contribute significantly to the mixed-use characteristic of the area. Our next objective is to bring in food offerings to support the currently planned developments,” said Justin Hurley Braswell, Executive Vice President for Rubicon. “Our continued involvement with the community of Klamath Falls has been extremely helpful. Both Klamath County Economic Development Association and the Klamath Falls Downtown Association have been involved in our pursuit of further development and a pleasure to work with.”

Rubicon Investments has purchased multiple lots in the TimberMill Shores Development from the Shaw family, with the intent to continue the vision and develop the project. “We are very excited about the increasing interest in developing key downtown amenities such as retail, residential space, lodging and restaurants at TimberMill Shores. We are hopeful that this announcement is the first of many leading to further development in the downtown area,” said Darin Rutledge, Executive Director of the Klamath Falls Downtown Association.

Additionally, Klamath Falls Holdings, LLC, has been working on the next phase of planning for the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) Multi-Service Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon. “We have just completed the Design Development phase of planning and received design approval from the TimberMill Shores Association, which represents the lot owners in the mixed-use development. This project is continuing to meet its targets and the groundbreaking is anticipated for late spring of 2019, and completion in the early Summer of 2020.”
